These terms describe how FetchCalc works today. They are general terms of use, not legal advice, and they may be updated as the site changes.
1. Acceptance
By using FetchCalc you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Educational purpose only
FetchCalc is an independent calculator and educational service. We are not a lender, broker, or financial adviser, and nothing here is financial advice. Estimates are for planning only; your actual offer and payment will come from your lender.
Nothing on this site is an offer of credit, a commitment to lend, a recommendation of a product, or personalised financial, tax or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional before making borrowing decisions.
3. Accuracy of estimates
Our calculators use standard amortization mathematics and the values you enter. Real loans vary with interest accrual conventions, fee structures, payment timing, escrow changes and lender policy, so results are estimates. We work to keep them correct but make no warranty that any figure matches what a lender will quote or charge.
4. The assistant feature
"Ask FetchCalc" explains figures produced by the calculators. It is not advice and it does not know your circumstances. Where an automated language model is used in future, its output may still contain errors and should be checked against the calculator results and your lender's documents.
5. Advertising and third-party links
The site contains, or will contain, advertising and affiliate links from which we may earn compensation. We don't control third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content, products, or terms. Inclusion of an offer is not an endorsement or a statement that it's the best available to you.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, or misrepresent our content as advice from a licensed adviser.
7. Intellectual property
The FetchCalc name, mascot, design and written content are ours. You may share and link to pages freely; wholesale copying is not permitted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FetchCalc is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made using the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
